1.4L TSI Engines

• Oil separator leaking engine oil

• Mechatronics (DQ200) - no communication fault (car won’t start)

• Hydraulic mechatronics - car starts but spanner light flashes, won’t drive

• Carbon build-up on intake valves (rough idle, loss of power)

• Haldex AWD pump - blocked filters causing AWD failure (needs regular fluid changes)

• DQ500 gearbox - mechatronic or clutch issues, harsh shifts (service every 40,000km)

• Turbo wear from insufficient warm-up/cool-down

• Cooling leaks - plastic water pumps and thermostat housings cracking

• Brake wear - fast pad/rotor wear, especially on track use
